Undoubtedly, it will be hard to replace paper napkins altogether at most functions. For the wedding reception, the couple may opt for fancy linens on the table which would mean that each guest would have a cloth napkin as part of his/her place setting. But for other functions, cloth napkins may not be feasible. To remedy this, choose napkins that are made with recycled paper materials and stay from colored, patterned napkins. The dye in these napkins is what makes the disposal of the napkin problematic. Many companies also sell unbleached, brown napkins and while these will not be acceptable at a fancy bridal shower, they will do just fine for the groom’s stag party.
