touch-ups-pheobe-bridal-shoesToday, it is really not uncommon for the bride to buy more than one pair of shoes for the wedding day. And we are not referring to her go-away shoes, we are talking about her actual bridal shoes. In fact, there are several reasons why the bride might buy two pair of wedding shoes to wear with her gown.

1. High heels may be uncomfortable after a few hours. In oder to let her feet rest and to dance more comfortably, the bride might change to less formal shoes such as wedding sneakers, colored flip-flops, or soft ballet slippers.

2. If the wedding is in the winter, she may purchase bridal boots to wear outside and then change to another shoe indoors.

3. Sometimes depending on where or how the pictures are being taken, the bride might purchase different shoes for the photo shoot than the rest of the day.

4. Many women will be two different styles just to be on the safe side. If one just doesn’t fit right on the wedding day, the other style will be a backup.

5. There may be shipping discounts for buying two pairs of shoes.

6. Some brides have even bought two of the same shoe in case of problems when the shoes are being dyed.
