Bridal Lingerie ~ Showcasing Luxury Collections
One of the things that really irritates me when others write about bridal lingerie is the need for it to be sexy, and how crucial it is for the wedding night. These articles are nothing more than fluff. They merely make the fine art of creating magnificent pieces and choosing the most appropriate lingerie condescending and derogatory to the bride. The truth is bridal lingerie is about wearing the right undergarments to complement the most gorgeous dress on earth. It has nothing to do with pleasing the groom and looking hot.
Because of seeing so much of this on various sites, I decided to do a bridal lingerie guide to let women know how to choose the right pieces to give her gown the fabulous look it deserves. Indeed, undergarments are everything in making the gown sit properly and hang graciously on any body shape. Thus, each post will focus on a different piece of lingerie in effort to match corsets, waspies, bustiers, panties, bras, stockings, crinolines, bridal slips, and other underwear to the chosen gown.
To kick off the series, here a few companies whose bridal lingerie are absolutely lovely.
Charnos “Eve” collection is sumptuous with its very pretty and exquisite embroidery. So delicate and so elegant!

Myla Meredith collection is wonderful because the pieces are offered in black or white. With many of today’s brides seeking something different, they are wearing black gowns and this collection is perfect for this latest trend.

What Katy Did is vintage shapewear but is oh so perfect under a wedding gown.
